I have been an all-around creative type almost my entire life: as an illustrator and painter, graphic designer, garden designer, fashion and a musician. I am a big fan of Minimalism and the Expressionist art movement. Artists like Monet and VanGogh; Mid century modern, Danish furniture design; and Architect, Frank LLoyd Wright. Influenced also by childhood memories of living in Norway and Denmark. I have been fascinated in playing with negative space in all my design and artwork.

I received a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Interaction Design IxD IU / UX (the interaction of humans to computers), and minored in art. Currently I am in Marketing in the Wellness industry. I have 9+ years experience in the Beauty, Health and Wellness realm, and 12+ years in design and marketing.

I love getting outside for a walk with my dog, enjoying nature. I love going dancing with friends at some live music, eating healthy recipes with whole foods. Staying fit with yoga and pilates.

You know that feeling when you're standing in a grocery store, staring at twenty different kinds of dish soap, and wondering which one is actually better for the planet? I've been there too—a lot. It can be overwhelming, right? We're bombarded with messages about climate change and environmental collapse, but rarely given practical guidance on how our everyday choices can make a difference. That’s why I wrote this book A Guide to Urban Sustainability.

An Almanac for Now is born from a recognition of the accelerating pace of societal change and the imperative for continuous personal growth. In a world characterized by increasing complexity and interconnectedness, the need for self-awareness and understanding of evolving social, political, and professional landscapes is paramount. This book serves as a navigational tool, equipping readers with the knowledge and strategies to thrive in this dynamic environment. [205 pages]
